LTPI offers Associate Membership to individuals who do not meet the professional qualifications set forth above, but are still interested in working with LTPI in advancing the development of the legal technology industry and associated professionals. Associate members have more limited benefits and no voting rights, but can still, if approved, participate in LTPI projects and programming.
As a non-profit trade association, LTPI sustains its operations through the collection of annual membership dues and the generous support of its benefactors. To deliver programs and services, including the development and maintenance of standards for the industry, the Board of Directors has set initial annual dues as $300.00 for Members and $65.00 for Associate Members.
For Members who are employed full-time by an accredited educational institution, state or federal court, governmental legal department, bar association, or other industry non-profit corporation, LTPI offers a 50% discount in membership dues.

LTPI understands that financial hardship can make it difficult for some of our current and future members to pay the fees associated with our membership requirements. We've designed a policy to alleviate pressures in such cases and ensure that our members are treated equitably.
LTPI offers a special discounted payment program to those individuals who require assistance and provide proof of unemployment or other financial hardship. Unemployed persons will be given preference.
Persons wishing to learn more about our Financial Hardship Policy should email firstname.lastname@example.org. The email should detail why you require assistance and provide proof of unemployment or other financial hardship. Persons with income above $50,000 annually will not be considered.
